After all our hard work and anticipation for the bridal show, we experienced one of these days ourselves!
We spent days hand picking which invitations we felt you’d love to see, packing up our accessories, banners, pamphlets and everything we believed would enhance your experience. Friday morning, setup day, here we go, movers are ready to transport our shelves… low and behold our shelves have collapsed and can’t be restored! Okay we’re an hour off track now, no big deal lets go buy news ones (quick fix), uh oh the stores machines aren’t working for an undetermined period of time and we can’t quite purchase the shelves…our minds are racing, we’re running out of time!
Okay we finally arrived at Place Bonaventure and we had a really sweet and helpful friend assemble our shelves! As we unpacked everything, we felt pressed for time and were worried our vision wouldn’t come through. All that to say, we took a deep breath, took on the weekend with a smile and hoped for the best, the result? Great feedback, tons of gracious and kind words from brides and questions galore on which colours, paper styles or embellishments they could have and when could we have it ready! Today I sit here on my laptop and answer the non-stop phone calls to book appointments and say remember that if you believe and love what you do…others will too! Don’t dwell on the setbacks, focus on the goal and success will follow. Thanks everyone who helped make the weekend a great one, hope to meet most of you again in our office!
